Welcome

Thank you for visiting our website. The Medford Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) is proud to be part of a nationwide network comprising more than 190,000 members. Our activities and programs are chosen to advance the mission of AAUW:

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

Within our branch we provide members with opportunities to participate in public policy and community assistance; raise funds for local scholarships for women and girls; enjoy a variety of interest groups; and engage in social activities throughout the year.

Membership is open to college graduates and those holding an associate degree or equivalent.

Feel free to visit our meetings. Here are some of the programs scheduled for the next few months:

April 7-Medford Public Library. "Services for Kids in Crisis" will be discussed by three leaders of non-profit agencies that help local children and their families. Meet at 9:30.

May 5--Medford Public Library. A potluck continental brunch at 9:15 a.m. will be followed by a program, "Hands-On Ecology" by Jim Hutchins of Oregon Stewardship.

June 2 Rogue Room, Skyline Plaza, Rogue Valley Manor. Scholarships/AAUW Funds Luncheon, the highlight of the year, is when we meet the recipients of our 2012 scholarships and hear their stories. Luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m.
